GTA 3 Import Export Vehicle List: Portland and Shoreside Vale

GTA III import/export is one of the easiest 100% categories to forget because progress is spread across physical vehicle lists rather than a normal mission chain. There are three delivery sets: the Portland Harbor industrial/commercial garage, the Portland Harbor emergency-vehicle crane, and the Shoreside Vale suburban/personal garage.

Portland industrial/commercial garage list

The list mixes common vans/trucks with vehicles you may not see often during early Portland play. Do not wait until the end of the story to start deliveries—bring a requested vehicle whenever you naturally encounter one.

Portland emergency-vehicle crane

Some of these are naturally tied to wanted levels or emergency services, so this list is often completed later than the civilian garage. Keep the crane in mind when a rare law-enforcement vehicle becomes available.

Shoreside Vale suburban garage list

This list focuses more on civilian and performance vehicles. Once Shoreside Vale is open, many entries can be sourced from ordinary traffic on Shoreside and Staunton.

Best delivery strategy

1. Photograph or copy the list into a checklist.
2. Deliver common vehicles immediately; do not “save them for later.”
3. When you see a rare vehicle during a mission, decide whether mission completion or delivery is more valuable before abandoning the objective.
4. Use safehouses/nearby roads to preserve useful cars where practical.
5. After each delivery, verify that the vehicle disappears/gets accepted before crossing it off.

Treat each garage/crane as a checklist and deliver rare vehicles whenever you encounter them.

Finding rare vehicles

Some requested vehicles have reliable parked spawns or appear more often in certain districts. The Banshee is famous for its Portland showroom spawn, the Dodo appears at Francis International Airport, and heavy/emergency vehicles are easier to obtain through the activities or wanted-level situations that normally generate them.

Rather than driving randomly across the entire city, match vehicle type to district: industrial trucks around docks/industrial roads, performance cars on later islands, and emergency vehicles through their services.

Why import/export matters for 100%

All three lists are required for 100% completion. A player can finish every story mission, collect every package and still remain short because one garage list is incomplete.

If you are stuck at a high completion percentage, physically revisit both Portland Harbor lists and the Shoreside garage instead of trusting memory.

Rewards and practical value

Completing lists makes the delivered vehicles available at their respective import/export locations, turning the garages into useful vehicle sources. This is especially convenient for rare or high-value cars after the checklist is finished.

Browser save caution

Import/export progress is part of game progress, not the OPFS installation cache. Clearing a valid game archive cache should not be treated as a method to fix a missing vehicle-list entry. Verify the actual in-game list and save state instead.
